Legoland Water Park, the water attraction targeted at children aged two to 12, will open on UAE’s National Day on 2 December, 2016, as the opening has been delayed again.

The water park, an extension of Legoland Dubai, was originally scheduled to open on 31 October, which was then delayed to 15 November, along with Bollywood Parks Dubai.

Both parks are part of the $410mn (AED1.5bn) Dubai Parks and Resorts development in Jebel Ali, Gulf News reported.

“We are focused on delivering attractions that exceed international standards on every level — from guest experience to awesome rides and entertainment.

“We are in the last stages of construction and testing of Legoland Water Park. When [the park] opens, we are confident that all of our guests will have a memorable experience that will keep them coming back again and again,” park management said in a statement.

Legoland Dubai officially opened on October 31.
