Dubai Properties (DP) announced a new staff housing development - Rahaba Residences in Dubailand.
Rahaba Residences will house junior to mid-level staff and is the first staff accommodation development in Dubai to employ the built-to-suit (BTS) model to meet employees’ residential needs.
This project was designed and developed by DP to specifications that meet organisations’ housing needs and more importantly managed with each particular client’s needs.
Customisation is applied to all aspects of the interior of the buildings including residential units and all common areas such as central kitchens, dining halls, recreation rooms, gymnasium, technical rooms and parking.
Sahar Al Ansari, executive director, residential asset management at DP, said: “Rahaba Residences is a brand new alternative for employers who are interested in housing all of their staff in one, central location in the heart of Dubailand, without compromising on their staff wellbeing and lifestyle.
“The BTS model enables us to build an entirely new destination that will transform the way staff housing has been traditionally delivered in Dubai.”
Phase 1 of the development consists of four clusters, each comprising of two buildings connected through a podium level, with retail space on the ground floor of each building.
The buildings, each containing seven floors, encompass over 200 studio units, ranging in size from 27-36m2.
In total, Rahaba Residences houses more than 1, 600 studios in the eight buildings. All residents will have access to a gymnasium, lounge area, nursery room, prayer rooms, outdoor basketball and volleyball courts.
Rahaba Residences is located on the Dubai - Al Ain Road, and is a five-minute drive away from Dubai Outlet Mall.
The development features a variety of amenities including sports facilities and car parking spaces.
