Criminal investigation building contract signed

Kuwait’s Ministry Of Public Works announced that it has signed a contract for the construction of a new building for the Criminal Investigation Directorate to be located in Al-Zahraa neighbourhood.

In a press statement, the Ministry's assistant undersecretary, Ghaleb Sfouq pointed out that the five-storey building would be built on an area of 3ha, according to Kuwait News Agency.

He added that the development comprises of a main office block, an auditorium with dormitories and an interrogation building.

Two levels of underground parking provide 782 cars parking spaces for employees, he stated.

Sfouq noted that the construction works would commence by late December.
