Rotana to operate and manage $272m Cayan Cantara

Rotana's Arjaan and The Residences brands will respectively operate and manage Cayan Cantara's 700 hospitality and residential units

Rotana Hotel Management has been picked to operate the residential and hospitality units of Cayan Group's and Shuaa Capital's upcoming project in Dubai, the $272.2m (AED1bn) Cayan Cantara.

The project's hotel apartment tower – the Cayan Arjaan Hotel Apartments – will function under Rotana's Arjaan brand. 

Meanwhile, the residential tower will be managed by Rotana's The Residences brand. 

However, tenants will be provided the option to "personalise their living space". 

Up to 700 units are expected to be developed as part of the project. 

Excavation work for the development has been completed, with construction imminent following the recent appointment of Shapoorji Pallonji International as main contractor.
