Mubadala Development Company has sought expressions of interest from the construction industry to develop the Al Maryah Island Promenade extension project in Abu Dhabi.

Al Maryah Island is a 114 hectare mixed-use development which has been designated as a financial free zone.

It occupies a location at a midpoint between Abu Dhabi's existing downtown district, Al Reem Island, Mina Zayed and the new cultural district on Saadiyat Island.

The project scope includes hard and soft landscaping works for a 2km promenade extension to the existing Al Maryah Island public realm.

The deadline for expressions of interest is 6 December, 2016.
