HLG bags Al Mutahidah Towers construction contract
Scope of works includes the structural, architectural finishes and mechanical, electrical and plumbing works and landscaping
Habtoor Leighton Group (HLG) has been awarded a contract worth $159m (QAR580m) for the construction of Al Mutahidah Towers by United Development Company (UDC).
HLG, operating as Leighton Contracting (Qatar) WLL will be responsible for the construction of twin 25 storey residential towers consisting of 480 apartments, two parking levels, ground floor entrance lobby, and amenities areas with the gross floor area of 160,500m2.
The scope of works includes the structural, architectural finishes and mechanical, electrical and plumbing works and landscaping.
Al Mutahidah Towers is located on beachfront precinct of Viva Bahriya at the Pearl-Qatar, UDC’s flagship project and one of the largest urban developments in Qatar.
Construction will start in February 2017 and is scheduled for completion in third quarter of 2019.
