Kerzner International Holdings, a Dubai-based resort operator and developer, will open and manage its first Atlantis property in Hawaii.

With an expected 800 rooms and 524 residences, the new hotel will overlook the Honu and Kohola Lagoons on the island of O'ahu in Hawaii, USA.

It will also include a water park and The Lost Chambers Aquarium, among other attractions, similar to the Atlantis hotel in Dubai, The National reported.

Kerzner signed the deal with landowner and community developer China Oceanwide and its subsidiary Oceanwide Resort Paradise HI to develop the Atlantis Ko Olina.

Atlantis Resorts, which operates properties in the Bahamas and Dubai, also has plans to unveil two more projects in 2017 — The Royal Atlantis Resort & Residences, Dubai and Atlantis Sanya in Hainan, China.
