EGA marks further US expansion with new office
Serving the US market for nearly two decades, EGA will operate the office under the name Dubal America
Emirates Global Aluminum is further expanding its presence in the United States with a new sales office in St. Louis, it announced on Wednesday.
Serving the US market for nearly two decades, EGA will operate the office under the name Dubal America, according to WAM.
The 650.32sqm office will provide space for future growth as EGA has nearly doubled the volume of business and its workforce in just the past few years.
Walid Al Attar, EGA’s Chief Marketing Officer, said: "Operating from a central geographical location is crucial for our business in the United States. We provide specialised, high purity and high quality aluminium products to customers on every coast and we need to be able to connect quickly and efficiently.”
According to Missouri Governor, Jay Nixon, EGA’s move to increase capacity and continue to expand in the US market will create more exposure to new customers and businesses on a global scale and open doors for job creation.
He said: “To continue moving our economy forward, we are always looking outside our borders for prospects that can make a difference for Missouri families.”
Nixon led a trade mission recently to the UAE that met with Mubadala, one of EGA's shareholders.
