Schneider Electric has appointed Hanan Darwish to the position of cluster president, Gulf and Pakistan
Schneider Electric has appointed Hanan Darwish to the position of cluster president for its operations in the Gulf and Pakistan.
Darwish has been part of the Schneider Electric team for more than 17 years. In her new role, she will oversee all of the energy management and automation company’s business activities within the region.
Most recently, Darwish worked for the company’s energy business as global senior vice president for corporate strategy and human resources (HR) – a role that covered a scope of more than 29,000 employees worldwide.
During the course of her career, Darwish has held numerous executive positions at Schneider Electric, including vice president of HR for North America, head of HR for France, and HR director for Northeast Africa and Gulf countries.
Darwish also established the Schneider Electric University, a platform designed to lead and manage the company’s worldwide trainers’ network.
Before joining Schneider Electric in 2000, Darwish spent seven years at Proctor & Gamble, fulfilling a selection of business functions including marketing, customer business development, and organisation development.
