The Municipality evaluates all batches of products in factories and awards compliance certificates based on the passing of tests required in accordance with certain specifications.

“We contribute in a great way to the quality assurance of the products from these factories and the durability of the concrete blocks as well as consumer protection,” added Ahmad.

DCL is currently assessing and granting compliance certificates to a wide range of factories for a variety of products like concrete blocks, steel bars, thermal insulation products, ready-mixed concrete factories, solar water heater systems, paints and adhesives, pre-fabricated building facades, food products and other products.
