Nakheel invites bids for Deira Islands Boulevard
The project will cover 16 residential towers, each 21 storeys high, containing 2,924 town houses and apartments spread over four clusters
Nakheel is inviting contractors to build the new $1.36bn Deira Islands Boulevard, according to reports on Sunday.
The project will cover 16 residential towers, each 21 storeys high, containing 2,924 town houses and apartments spread over four clusters.
The towers will also include one, two and three-bedroom apartments, which the developer will retain for its own leasing portfolio.
Deira Islands Boulevards is scheduled for completion in 2020 and will be built in the heart of the 15.3 sq km Deira Islands development.
The property developer also added that it will issue another tender soon for six additional towers, including two hotels, two serviced apartment complexes and two residential.
Nakheel Chairman Ali Rashid Lootah said in statement last year: “Deira Islands Boulevard will be the defining landmark of the area traditionally known as ‘Old Dubai’, offering spectacular facilities in a self-sustaining community for more than 10,000 people.”
