Construction work on the $27m (AED100m) specialised children's park project will commence very soon, announced Eng Hussain Nasser Lootah, director general of Dubai Municipality.

Expected to be complete by September 2019, the park will have all children-related specifications to provide an unforgettable entertainment and knowledge experience for them.

It will be designed keeping in mind their safety and catering to the children’s physical and intellectual capabilities.

There will be facilities for group games for children of different age groups. All facilities will be easy to use for children with special needs, including the entry, exit, and the toilets.

In addition to that, specific games will be designed to suit this category of children.

Lootah said: "It will be one of the new projects that Dubai Municipality will be implementing, aimed at having an emirate that has the happiest children in the world. The location of the park will be revealed later."
