EcoWASTE 2017 officially opens in Abu Dhabi
The event, a platform which showcases the latest practices, solutions and technologies in the waste management sector, is being held as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week
The fourth edition of EcoWASTE 2017 officially opened today at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The event, a platform which showcases the latest practices, solutions and technologies in the waste management sector, is being held as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week, ADSW, from the 16-19 January, 2017.
EcoWASTE 2017 has so far attracted 48 local, regional and global companies with an anticipated attendance of over 5,500 specialists and decision makers in the waste management and recycling sector, one of the fastest growing sectors in the Middle East.
Eisa Saif Al Qubaisi, General Manager of Tadweer, the Centre of Waste Management - Abu Dhabi, said, "Tadweer’s ultimate objective is to showcase Abu Dhabi as the global capital of future energy and a leading destination for sustainability.
“Today, we are successfully attracting a substantial number of local, regional and international organisations specialised in waste management and recycling.
“This is a testament to the tremendous efforts Tadweer is making to maintain a healthy sustainable environment, which comes in line with the vision of Abu Dhabi."
The event will also host The Waste Management Solutions Forum with the participation of key decision makers and experts in waste management.
EcoWASTE 2017 will be running alongside the World Future Energy Summit, WFES, and the International Water Summit, IWS, from 16th to 19th January at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
