ADNOC says fire-hit refinery to come online in 48h

The blaze that broke out at Takreer Refinery impacted only the west refinery of the facility that is due to come online within 48 hours, ADNOC said

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) announced that the fire-hit part of its Takreer Refinery will "come back online fully within 48 hours". 

Following the incident at the Takreer Refinery on 11 January, 2017, ADNOC said only the west refinery of the development was impacted.

In a statement, cited by WAM, ADNOC said: "There were no casualties from the incident.

"The east refinery remained operational throughout the incident." 

The impact of the fire is marginally limited to propylene production, the report added.
