Omniyat appoints Sun Engg for its Dubai project

Dubai-based developer, Omniyat, has appointed Sun Engineering and Contracting Company, as the main contractor for its project, The Sterling.
The Sterling comprises one-bedroom homes, starting at 93m2, two-bedrooms at 158m2, and three-bedrooms at 241.5m2.
The development, a two-tower design with chrome finish, is close to the new Dubai Canal in Burj Khalifa District and is a mix of 343 apartments.
Omniyat managing director, Mark Phoenix, said: "The masterplan for The Sterling shows we are still totally committed to creating truly beautiful and spacious homes in Dubai, as we are confident there is a very strong market for this. With these apartments starting at 93m2, we are able to deliver a home that has all the hallmarks of an Omniyat property with impeccable finishing and attention to detail throughout.
“These are homes you will either love to live in or will be an exciting and solid long-term investment. The trend in Dubai is to look at apartments being brought to the market at less than 800 square feet but we are confident that will not apply for The Sterling. “
Omar Ataya, deputy chairman, Sun Engineering & Contracting, said: "The Sterling by Omniyat is a project that will become one of the true iconic buildings in Dubai and Sun Engineering & Contracting is proud to be turning that vision into a reality.”
