Work on Alfardan’s mixed-use project, by the Sultan Qaboos Highway, close to the Muscat International Airport, has begun.
Spread over 930m2, the project will have luxury residential apartments, office spaces, and showrooms of Alfardan Motors, Muscat Daily reported.
Ibrahim Jaidah Architects and Engineers, an architectural, engineering design, and consultancy firm is the lead design and supervision consultant.
MSCC International has won the enabling works contract, while Al Turki Enterprises has been awarded the main construction contract.
The development will comprise apartments ranging from one-to-three-bedroom along with amenities such as swimming pools, a gym, a children’s play area, and coffee shops.
Wael Jamal, general manager, Alfardan Properties, said: “We are delighted to announce that the first phase of the construction has already begun. We envision a multi-faceted development that respects and responds to the preferences of the community.
“Our properties stand out for their distinct blend of traditional Omani architecture and contemporary design concepts with state of the art amenities.”
Stressing the demand for luxury properties, he said: “The real estate market remains buoyant despite the challenges.
“With Oman’s guaranteed political and economic stability, transparent legal systems and investor-friendly rules, there is no reason why more customers won’t invest in properties such as ours.
“We are certain that this project will definitely contribute to Oman’s economy and set new benchmarks for mixed-use developments.”
