USG Boral continues to build sustainable

The company, which has recently expanded its production of metal ceiling panels in the region, also provides ceiling panels, wallboard finishing, and drywall steel framing systems in its sustainable product range

The company, which has recently expanded its production of metal ceiling panels in the region, also provides wallboard finishing and drywall steel framing systems in its sustainable product range.

USG Boral Middle East is a Joint Venture between USG and Boral. USG Boral Middle East manufacturing operations for mineral fiber, Shaft Wall, Drywall Partition System (Stud and Track), Donn brand suspension systems and Sheetrock brand joint and surface treatment products are based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

The regional branch also has manufacturing operations in Turkey and Sallalah, Oman.

Fares Saghbini, managing director of USG Boral ME said: “What differentiates us is that the whole production of the Metal Ceiling System, from tile to suspension system is done in-house; giving premium finishing, high quality and a wide variety of choices.”

USG Boral’s products are used in everything from major commercial developments and residential housing to simple home improvements.

Flagship brands for the company include Fiberock, Durock, Sheetrock, Securock, DONN DX and Premium Premix.

Last year, USG Boral ME had begun production of metal ceiling panels from its Dammam factory in Saudi Arabia, the newest and latest plant for metal ceilings in the region in five years.

The move marked a major expansion of the company’s product portfolio, which comprises plasterboard, ceiling lining systems and accessories.

“Our products range varies from standard suspended ceiling systems to specialties and custom-made to meet the various requirements of architect’s specifications,” Saghbini added.
