HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, inspected Dubai's Museum of the Future – and its automatic robotic City Tools system – on 12 February, 2017.

The visit came on the eve of the fifth World Government Summit, currently underway in the city.

Part of the exhibit prepared for the visit was City Tools, an interactive system that displays future cities and demonstrates how a city might be rebuilt after a disaster or over a short period.

City Tools "relies on advanced robotic technologies to construct buildings and infrastructure, and create sustainable and flourishing environmental systems", WAM reported.

Museum of the Future is a steel cladded ovular building, worth $136m (AED449m).

HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, inaugurated the facility on 10 February, ahead of the World Government Summit.
