Tender Board chief inaugurates Ladies Mall in Oman
The retail facility in Awqad, developed exclusively for women and children, features a theatre, restaurants, shops, and a nursery
A shopping centre developed exclusively for women and children has been inaugurated in Salalah, Oman.
Dr Rasheed bin Al Safi al-Huraibi, chairman of the country's Tender Board, opened Ladies Mall earlier this week.
The complex, which is located in the business district in Awqad, features a theatre, restaurants, shops, and a nursery.
A special section for children has been developed within the complex, state agency ONA reported.
ATM and electronic payment services, as well as services of some government institutions, are also available at the retail facility.
According to a report published by Gulf Digital News in January, the mall's management team has also "allocated a corner for women to display and sell their self-made products".
