UAE: Dubai Municipality to open five new parks

Dubai Municipality (DM) has announced that it will open five new parks.

The public spaces will be unveiled as part of the 37th UAE Plantation Week.

The first of the five amenities, Al Warqa 3 Park, is to be inaugurated in the presence of HE Dr Thani Bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment.

The additional park openings will include Nadd Al Sheba 2 Park, Al Khawaneej Pond Park, Al Mizhar 2 Park, and Hatta Valley Park.

This year’s UAE Plantation Week will take place from 12-16 March under the slogan: “Let’s plant a greener emirate together.”

The initiative will involve participation from all municipalities in the UAE.
