The sixth Middle East Facilities Management Association (MEFMA) Confex, held from 13 to 14 March in Dubai, recorded an attendance of more than 600 facilities management professionals and executives from across the region.

The event featured sessions on the latest innovations and FM solutions, as well as secured new programmes that will help build knowledge and skills, and create new growth opportunities for the industry.

The confex also saw MEFMA signing three new memoranda of understanding with Bee’ah, Herriot Watt University, and Bilfinger Sielv UAE and Bilfinger Sharjah Asset Management.

Jamal Abdulla Lootah, president of MEFMA and CEO of Imdaad, said: “It is a great achievement for the regional FM sector to mark another successful year of pushing for innovative transformation within the industry.

“Undoubtedly, the FM industry needs to reshape and evolve in order to remain relevant in this era of digital revolution. The MEFMA Annual Confex provided [a] venue for our partners and stakeholders to further explore areas where we can leverage growth.”
