RSG and Rotana ink deal to build 54-storey hotel

Hotel management company, Rotana, has signed an agreement with RSG International, a UAE-based firm, for a new five-star hotel and serviced apartment project in Dubai.

Located in Sufouh Gardens on Sheikh Zayed Road, Sabah Rotana, will be a 54-storey, 534-room property.

It will be managed by Rotana, and is scheduled to open in the second quarter of 2020.

The hotel will feature 210 rooms in addition to 10 executive suites and two presidential suites.

The hotel apartments meanwhile will comprise 260 one-bedroom and 52 two-bedroom apartments.

Food and beverage offerings will consist of seven venues including restaurants, bars, and three night clubs including one on the roof top.

Business and recreational facilities include three meeting rooms, an executive lounge, and a gym, a swimming pool, and a wellness lounge.

Parking will be spread across the basement and podium levels, and will accommodate up to 800 vehicles.

The agreement was signed by Raj Sahni (Abu Sabah), owner and chairman of RSG International, and Nasser Al Nowais, chairman of Rotana. 

Last August, RSG handed over its residential project, Qasr Sabah in International Media Production Zone
