Operated by Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, The Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah was designed by Italian architect, Pierro Lissoni
Ajman’s The Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah will officially open its doors next week, making it the fifth five-star hotel in the emirate.
Operated by Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, The Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah, designed by Italian architect Pierro Lissoni, is located beside a 100ha ecological wetland.
The beach resort offers an 18-hole Nicklaus Design championship golf course, and motorised and non-motorised water sports.
Covering an area of 543ha, Al Zorah is a mixed-use coastal development situated on a 1.6km-long stretch of beach.
The hotel features 113 villas, suites, and a penthouse; the rooms and suites offer private balconies, while the villas offer terraces and temperature-controlled private pools, according to Hotelier Middle East.
Al Zorah Development Co is a joint venture between Solidere International Limited and the Government of Ajman.
Imad Dana, chief executive officer of Al Zorah Development Co, said: “Visitors to our destination are already enjoying the 18-hole championship golf course, navigating the development through the completed landscaped roads and infrastructure, the recreational public parks, and the soon-to-open Marina 1.
“Now with the five-star hotel open to tourists and residents, Al Zorah will serve to enhance the UAE’s luxury hospitality sector. Set within a grand destination, the hotel will offer more than just its premises to the visitors but an entire offering of wellness, tranquil yet vibrant waterfront living.”
The Oberoi Beach Resort Al Zorah was given a five-star resort classification by Ajman Tourism Development Department (ATTD) on 2 April, 2017, ahead of its official opening.
Six Construct was the main contractor for the development, while NORR Group acted as the consultant.
