Parsons hires EVP for its logistics, training arm
Parsons has appointed Wendy Van Wickle as executive vice president of the logistics and training division within its federal business unit
Parsons has appointed Wendy Van Wickle as executive vice president of its federal business unit’s logistics and training division.
In her new role, Van Wickle will be responsible for the division’s strategy, profit and loss (P&L), and operational performance.
Prior to joining Parsons, Van Wickle was vice president of ground operations and logistics solutions for a defence company – a role in which she was responsible for more than $350m in revenue, and led more than 1,000 employees in the Middle East, Europe, and the US.
Van Wickle has more than 25 years of industry experience, having worked in the fields of security and cybersecurity, aviation, aerospace, defence, and advanced technologies.
Carey Smith, group president of Parsons, said: “Wendy’s aerospace and defence industry experience spans integrated logistics support, training, [information technology] solutions, and cyber sustainment.
“We are pleased to welcome her to the Parsons team,” he added.
Van Wickle holds a master’s degree in systems engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, and bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering and computer engineering from Rutgers University.
She will operate out of Parsons’ Centreville office in Virginia, US.
