Bahri & Mazroei Trading Company (BMTC) has reopened its flagship Dubai showroom following a $272,000 (AED1m) renovation.

The UAE-headquartered electrical, lighting, and water system supplier, which is a subsidiary of Bahri & Mazroei Group, has conducted aesthetic and functional enhancements to the facility.

Located in Dubai’s Al Khabaisi area, the 500m2 showroom now boasts extra-low voltage (ELV) systems and smart technologies designed to strengthen operational efficiency.

BMTC also revealed plans to expand its UAE footprint further with the addition of a 300m2 showroom in Mussafah, Abu Dhabi.

Esam Al Mazroei, vice chairman of Bahri & Mazroei Group, said: “Our flagship showroom in Dubai has served as a hub for our operators, serving customers from across the nation and providing the widest range of electrical, water, and lighting solutions – all in one place.

“We have an ambition to upgrade all our showrooms to reflect the modern trends in design and technology in line with our commitment to be a customer-centric organisation. The showroom will better serve our customers and meet all their requirements under one roof.”

Youssef Saidi, chief operating officer of Bahri & Mazroei Group, added: “BMTC has been serving the industry partners across the construction and facility management supply chain for 50 years, delivering utmost value.

“With the new showroom, we are better placed to offer them highly efficient service, while also enhancing the productivity and efficiency of our operations. This is in response to the growing demand for our high-quality products that meet the needs of the UAE’s infrastructure development projects.”

BMTC’s Mussafah showroom, which is scheduled to open in May 2017, will be its fifth outlet in the UAE. The company has existing showrooms in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, and Ras Al Khaimah.
