Saudi Arabia has plans to award a grant worth $200m to Tajikistan.

According to Asia-Plus, the grant will cover the construction of parliamentary and governmental complexes in Dushanbe.

Quoting a source from the Tajik government, the news agency reported that the new parliamentary complex will be constructed in the same location as the Ministry of Agriculture, the office of the mayor of Dushanbe, and the Iranian Embassy.

The governmental complex, meanwhile, will reportedly be constructed on Rudaki Avenue, where Rohat Teahouse is located.

The publication noted that the grant agreement for the construction of the complexes in Dushanbe was reached in January 2016, during an official visit of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon to Saudi Arabia.
