Sharjah approves 386 residential plot applications
The Permanent Committee on Lands Allocation met to pass the approvals for the applications, and to discuss the need to speed up the allocation of lands and the application process for housing, commercial, industrial, and investment plots
The Permanent Committee on Lands Allocation in Sharjah has announced approving a total of 386 residential plot applications.
According to UAE state news agency, WAM, the authorisation of the applications was made during a committee meeting attended by Dr Khalid bin Butti Al Muhairi, chairman of the Planning and Surveying Department.
The attendees of the meeting reportedly reviewed and discussed several topics of interest to the people in Sharjah, including the coordination between the committee and municipal councils; the need to speed up the allocation of lands and the application process for housing, commercial, industrial, and investment plots; and the issue of conformity to the committee’s requirements on the allocation of land.
The meeting also discussed the emirate’s housing plan, which was approved by the Planning and Survey Department, to allocate residential plots for eligible citizens, WAM reported.
