IFA introduces two facilities management divisions
IFA Real Estate Service Group has launched two new facilities management divisions, Candoo and Sahalah, to service residences and asset owners
Asset management group, IFA Hotel Investments (HI), has revealed plans for a reshaping of their property enterprise.
The group will also debut two new branded operational divisions, apart from re-naming of the group as IFA Real Estate Service Group (IFA RES).
IFA Real Estate Services oversees the management of almost $1bn of real estate assets covering a wide range of uses from commercial, hotels, and residences as well as vacation ownership products.
The introduction of two new brands include, Candoo, its home services division. Candoo will provide residential service which provides homeowners, tenants, and residents’ services that range from housekeeping and maintenance, limousine services, and construction assistance.
The second, Sahalah, will offer contracted services to asset owners and community managers in Dubai. Sahalah provides contracted services on a long term basis such as security, concierge, facilities management, and long term maintenance.
Sahalah will inherit 45 contracts already undertaken to provide these services to assets such as Fairmont The Palm, Kempinski Residences, and Palm Golden Mile.
Joe Sita, chief executive officer of IFA Real Estate Services, said: "The growth of IFA HI into these different verticals led us to assess what we do, what the marketplace perceives us to be and also where we need to truly focus our management going forward.”
“Our new brands are exciting routes for these branches to grow in the longer term. Candoo is our consumer brand which seeks to describe our business’ attitude to the demanding requests we receive. Sahalah solidifies our concentration on providing asset owners a professional manager for their communities and projects,” Sita added.
IFA RES is a wholly owned group within IFA Hotels & Resorts (IFA HR), listed on the Kuwait SE. IFA HR’s portfolio includes developments throughout the Middle East, Europe, Africa, North America, and the Indian Ocean.
