UAE-based AESG appoints environmental consultant

Sonya Benjamin, who holds a bachelor's degree in biology and specialises in ecological sciences, joined the company as environmental consultant

UAE-headquartered specialist construction consultancy, AESG, has added a new member to its environmental team. 

Sonya Benjamin has joined the firm as an environmental consultant. 

Benjamin holds a bachelor's degree in biology, and has more than five years of regional experience. 

She specialises in a range of disciplines, "with extensive exposure to field studies, academic research and publication, government and private consultation, and strategy-level management plans", AESG revealed. 

Ecological sciences is a technical field Benjamin specialises in, and she has previous carried out environmental baseline studies and assessments, and audits of ecological issues in the Arabian Peninsula. 

She has also been certified Associate Ecologist by the Ecological Society of America, AESG added in a statement on LinkedIn.
