Abu Dhabi: Jawaher Saadiyat over 22% complete
Construction at Jawaher Saadiyat, the gated residential community within the Saadiyat Beach District, is more than 22% complete
Abu Dhabi’s Tourism Development and Investment Company (TDIC) has announced that the construction of Jawaher Saadiyat, the gated residential community within the Saadiyat Beach District, is more than 22% complete.
The achievement of this milestone is a result of TDIC’s close collaboration with its main contractor, Al Jaber Building, according to UAE state news agency, WAM.
The project was awarded in July 2016 following a competitive tendering process. Scheduled for delivery in the latter half of 2018, buyers can secure units through an initial deposit of 2.5%, with villa and townhouse prices ranging from $1.3m (AED5.1m) to $4.84m (AED17.8m).
Sufian Hasan Al Marzooqi, chief executive officer of TDIC, said: "We are proud to witness the construction of Jawaher Saadiyat, one of the most distinctive residential projects at the Saadiyat Beach District, currently progressing ahead of schedule.”
Since the contractor’s mobilisation in August 2016, construction on the project has proceeded in according to schedule.
Hadeel Al Qadi, Jawaher Saadiyat’s senior project manager at TDIC, said: "We are working closely with our contractor and consultants to monitor the project’s development and ensure upholding the highest standards across all phases of construction.
“The completion of the foundations for all 83 units is an achievement, and we look forward to meeting or exceeding all our future development targets while maintaining the design and quality of the project."
