Terex Cranes doubles the comprehensive warranty for its Demag range of three-axle and five-axle mobile cranes reintroduced last year at Bauma 2016

Terex Cranes has introduced a two-year warranty as standard for all Demag mobile cranes purchases, doubling the length of the warranty compared to the previous agreement.

The comprehensive warranty covers all crane components – from engine and outriggers to cab and controls – from any and all defects in workmanship for 24 months.

“Our customers trust Demag cranes because they have the confidence that the equipment is ready to work every day. Doubling our previous standard warranty period demonstrates our dedication to our customers’ success,” said Steve Filipov, President of Terex Cranes.

“The name Demag is synonymous with quality and innovation. We are moving full speed ahead on the innovation train, so we will always be reaching above our customers’ expectations to keep them ahead of their competition every step of the way.”

Terex announced the return of Demag as a mobile cranes brand at Bauma 2016, including the three-axle AC 55-3 and AC 60-3 all-terrain cranes with, respectively, 55-tonne and 60-tonne capacities.

It has also introduced four five-axle models, the Demag AC 130-5, AC 160-5, AC 220-5 and AC 250-5, with weight capacities from 130 tonnes to 250 tonnes.

The five-axle models have already proved popular in the Gulf, with Bahrain-based Sarens Nass Middle East purchasing 15 five-axle Demag AC-130-5 all-terrain cranes for its fleet in March.

In April, Kuwait-based Integrated Logistics Company also signed an order for 12 Demag all-terrain cranes, including two AC 130-5, four AC 160-5 and six AC 300-6 units.
