Damac Properties has launched Aknan, a collection of three-bedroom villas within its Akoya Oxygen development in Dubai.

Aknan Villas will go on sale on Wednesday, 24 May at Roda Al Murooj Hotel's Al Yasat Ballroom.

The Aknan Villas are priced at $272,000 (AED1m) per unit, with a payment plan spanning over five years, according to the UAE-headquartered real estate developer

Niall McLoughlin, senior vice president of Damac Properties, said: “Aknan, meaning shelter in Arabic, highlights the importance and love of the concept of home.

“To the Arabian culture, home is something held very close to the heart and goes hand in hand with family time. It is also customary to extend hospitality and host friends at home so to capture this sentiment. This is the the concept behind Aknan Villas and how they came about.”

Damac recently announced the launch of Hajar 2, a collection of stone villas, also situated within the Akoya Oxygen community.
