Cavendish Maxwell has relocated its Abu Dhabi office and appointed Sobhail Raja as its new head of operations.

Raja joined Cavendish Maxwell from rival property consultant, Chestertons, where he spent three years as director, branch manager, and head of valuations in Abu Dhabi.

A qualified chartered surveyor, Raja will be responsible for overseeing all of Cavendish Maxwell's service lines and operations in Abu Dhabi. As the company's director and branch manager in the UAE capital, he will also focus on the development of new business opportunities.

Commenting on his appointment, Raja said: "Cavendish Maxwell has certainly been very active in the real estate sector, and I look forward to maintaining this momentum."

Nigel Armstrong, chief executive officer of Cavendish Maxwell, added: "Raja comes with extensive knowledge of all aspects of the real estate sector, which is a great asset as we continue to expand our operations both domestically and internationally."
