Two Dubai projects in the pipeline for Cayan Group
Cayan Group has shortlisted two locations in Dubai for two potential projects – one hospitality and one residential
Saudi Arabia-headquartered property developer, Cayan Group, is studying possible locations for its next two projects in Dubai.
Ashraf Qudsiyeh, director of engineering and development at Cayan, told Construction Week: “We have already started the preparation for our next projects; they’re in the pipeline.
“We have shortlisted two locations in Dubai. We are studying the two potential projects – one hospitality and one residential – very carefully. Hopefully, we’ll have some news to announce before the end of the year.”
The developer is currently building its first hospitality project in the Middle East. Cayan Cantara, a $272m (AED1bn), two-tower development in Dubai’s Umm Suqeim area, is expected to be completed by Q1 2019.
Cayan Group, in March, also unveiled its second hospitality project. Located on the Obhur waterfront in Jeddah, the project is valued at $320m (SAR1.2bn) and will have a built-up area of 140,000m2. Like Cayan Cantara, the Obhur Gate development will be a two-tower development consisting of a five-star hotel and branded residential apartments.
