Nakheel floats tender for Nad Al Sheba Mall
Construction works on the Nad Al Sheba Mall are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year, with 2020 set as its target completion date
UAE-based master developer, Nakheel, has released a construction tender for Nad Al Sheba Mall.
Spanning a total area of 130,064.3m2, the development will comprise 200 shops, restaurants, and entertainment outlets, including a supermarket, department stores, a multi-screen cinema, a medical clinic, and a fitness centre, all spread across 46,451.5m2 of shop space.
According to Dubai Media Office, construction works on the project are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of this year, with 2020 set as its target completion date.
Nakheel Malls started leasing spaces last month, and is reportedly finalising the contracts for the first tenants.
Nad Al Sheba Mall, the latest project in Nakheel Malls’ $4.4bn (AED16bn) retail expansion plan, will serve as the centrepiece of the developer’s Nad Al Sheba community, which is currently under construction.
