KCH Healthcare has revealed that it will open its first Dubai clinic in September 2017.
Located on Jumeirah Beach Road in Dubai’s Umm Suqeim are, the $30m (AED110m) King’s College Hospital London Medical Centre will feature 25 examination rooms plus dental facilities.
Construction activities, which were conducted by main contractor Al Tayer Stocks, commenced in November 2016, and the clinic was handed over in April 2017.
Medical professionals are now undergoing training in preparation for the facility’s opening.
Kevin Duffy, construction manager at KCH Healthcare, said: “Construction and fit-out works are now complete. We’re training staff at the moment, and we intend to open to the public in September this year.
“King’s College Hospital London Medical Centre is an outpatient clinic with approximately 25 examination rooms. It’s a multidisciplinary clinic that will offer family health and dental care,” he told Construction Week.
The facility will supplement KCH Healthcare’s $200m (AED734m) King’s College Hospital Dubai (KCH Dubai) development, which is currently under construction in Dubai Hills Estate.
KCH Healthcare is a partnership between Ashmore Group, Al Tayer Group, and KCH London.
