Dubai-based developer Ellington Properties has added a new residential project DT1 to its real estate portfolio in the emirate.

DT1, located in Downtown Dubai, broke ground earlier this year to signal the strategy of Ellington Properties to develop high-quality homes in Dubai’s sought-after locations.

Ellington Properties managing director Robert Booth said: “The UAE’s economy saw a GDP growth of 3.8% in 2016 and the IMF has stated that the growth of the country’s non-oil sector is expected to increase above four per cent in the medium term led by the recovery in oil price, the preparations for Expo 2020 and a host of other factors."

DT1 covers approximately 20,000 square metres and rises to a height of 72 metres.

Its project design and architecture won ‘Best Residential High-Rise’ at the ‘Middle East Architect Awards’.

The tower will rest on a podium which will house the amenities and residences with private gardens.

Apartments will be available in studio, one-, two-, three and four-bedroom penthouse configurations.
