Construction works are underway at King's College Hospital Dubai (KCH Dubai), a G+7, 100-bed hospital project valued at $200m (AED734m).

With a gross floor area (GFA) of 24,500m2 and a built-up area of 30,500m2, the hospital is a private project being developed by KCH Healthcare LLC, which is a partnership comprising Ashmore Group, Al Tayer Group, and KCH London.

The development is located at Dubai Hills Estate and has a target completion date of mid-2018. Expansion plans are already in the pipeline, however, with Phase 2 expected to commence before the end of 2020.

Construction Week recently visited the project site of KCH Dubai and spoke with Faithful+Gould, the firm handling project management duties for the development. Check out the feature on the project in issue 658 of the magazine. In the meantime, watch the video below to get an idea of how works are progressing at the site.
