CBRE has been appointed as the exclusive property manager and leasing consultant for GBCorp Tower in Bahrain.
Located within the Bahrain Financial Harbour master plan in Manama, the 22-storey building is home to Bahrain-based investment bank, GBCorp, and a series of other high-profile tenants.
GBCorp Tower boasts a gross leasable area (GLA) of approximately 19,000m2, with typical floor plates of 930m2. Smaller fitted units, which start at 250m2, will be available soon, according to CBRE.
Andy Hinson, senior director for asset services at CBRE Bahrain, said: “GBCorp Tower is a landmark property in the kingdom and, with its superior build quality, it is sure to attract further high-profile occupiers, particularly with the provision of smaller fitted office accommodation to meet current market needs.
“We look forward to working closely with GBCorp to support and develop its long-term strategy for the tower,” he added.
Commenting on CBRE’s appointment, Dr Zakaria Hejres, chief executive officer of CBCorp, said: “We are very pleased to assign CBRE as our asset management firm for GBCorp Tower.
“This collaboration will enhance our position as a key commercial office space provider in the kingdom, and we look forward to working with the property management and transaction team to fulfil the needs of both existing tenants and international occupiers, who seek prime commercial space in the heart of the country’s [central business district].”
