Oman Air, the Sultanate's national carrier, is currently seeking investors to fund the construction and operation of the airline's offices in Salalah, the capital of the southern Dhofar governorate.

Oman Air has invited expressions of interest (EOI) from investors and financial organisations to submit tenders for the above with the new building expected to comprise five levels, including a basement car park and other specified facilities, the Times of Oman reported.

Under the terms and conditions of this tender, the building is to be maintained by the investor for 25 years, after which it will be handed over to Oman Air.

Bidders are also expected to provide financial and operational details that can be allocated towards the construction of the new building, in addition to submitting detailed structural plans, and a portfolio of projects that were previously undertaken in this manner.
