Video: Motorsport Business Park in Dubai is 45% complete

With construction works scheduled to be completed by December 2017, Union Properties is expecting its Motorsport Business Park project in Dubai Motor City to soon serve as a new hub for the UAE motorsport industry

Construction work on Motorsport Business Park has crossed the 45% mark and is reportedly on track to meet the target completion date of 31 December, 2017.

The 5,600m2 facility, which is a project of Union Properties and an initiative of Dubai Autodrome, is valued at $4.3m (AED15.8m) and is located in the centre of the 5.39km race circuit in Motor City.

Designed to serve as a new hub for the UAE motorsport industry, the facility will see motorsports teams and automotive companies coming together under one roof and setting up their base at the racing circuit, said Ryan Trutch, special projects and kartdrome manager of Dubai Autodrome.

Multilink Contracting is the project's main contractor.

Construction Week recently visited the construction site of the project. Check out the video below to get an idea of how works are progressing.
