SSH bags infra contract for Bahrain’s Hasabi Waterfront Development

Manara Developments has appointed SSH to provide design and construction supervision for infrastructure works on the Hasabi Waterfront Development in Bahrain

SSH has secured an infrastructure contract for Hasabi Waterfront Development in Bahrain.

The contract, which was awarded by Manara Developments, will see the Kuwait-headquartered consultancy provide design and construction supervision for the project’s infrastructure works.

Located in the south of the country, next to the Durrat Al Bahrain archipelago, Hasabi Waterfront Development will feature both residential and commercial components.

The project will include three- and four-bedroom villas, three-storey residential buildings, commercial units, food and beverage (F&B) outlets, and beach facilities.

Each of Hasabi Waterfront Development’s villas will boast its own private jetty.

Commenting on the contract award, Mark Jamieson, infrastructure director at SSH, said: “We are proud to have been awarded the contract to undertake the design and construction supervision of the infrastructure work for this project in Bahrain.

“The Hasabi Waterfront Development is an exciting project for SSH. Our specialist experience on similar schemes, combined with our extensive knowledge of the Bahraini infrastructure project market, will enable fast and efficient delivery of the infrastructure works, with our services specifically tailored to meet our client’s requirements,” he added.

The scope of SSH’s contract will include the design of all of Hasabi Waterfront Development’s road and utility networks. The company said that it would in close collaboration with the master-planning consultant appointed by Manara Developments.

SSH’s other Bahraini projects include Marassi Boulevard and CanalView.
