'Green' glass

Indupart Europe introduces two sustainable glass ceramic products formed from 100% recycled float glass: ?Structuran? and ?Decoran?.

ANALYSIS, Design

Indupart Europe introduces two sustainable glass ceramic products formed from 100% recycled float glass: ‘Structuran’ and ‘Decoran’. ‘Structuran’, primarily aimed at external applications, is a revolutionary new material with anti-stain qualities, which has the combined characteristics of glass and stone. ‘Decoran’ is an extremely versatile interior glass ceramic, which is suitable for interior applications including kitchen and bar surfaces, flooring, stairs, screens, vanity tops and sinks.

A myriad of colour options are available. The translucent properties of the glass allow applications to be produced using light to create a unique ambience, such as lighted steps or illuminated pillars. The material is UV proof and has a number of environmental credentials, as no resins are used in the production process and the sintering process takes place in bio-gas fired ovens.
