Citiscape gears up to open Saudi Arabia office

The landscape contractor will open an office in Saudi Arabia this year

Landscape contractor Citiscape is gearing up to open an office in Saudi Arabia this year, Commercial Outdoor Design can reveal.

The office, which will be located in Riyadh, will open in the next couple of months, Houssam Khouri, marketing and business development manager at Citiscape, told COD.

The move is part of the contractor’s ongoing expansion in the GCC region, he said. “Saudi Arabia is a big market and especially with what is going on, we have to explore new markets and Saudi Arabia is a prominent one,” he said.

He said the firm would start with 10 to 12 people dedicated to the Saudi Arabia operations.

Commenting on work in Saudi Arabia, Khouri said the firm had a project in hand but could not release details due to regulations governing the operations of business in the Kingdom.

Khouri described the current market in Dubai as ‘a bit frustrating’ but said this was balanced by projects signed in Abu Dhabi.

In addition to its offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi and the soon-to-be-opened office in Saudi Arabia, Citiscape also has offices in Al Ain and Qatar.

Citiscape offers a range of landscape related services including design, construction, and operation and maintenance.

The firm also has a division specializing in nursery construction with projects including Saadiyat Island, and Al Raha Beach.
