Singaporean tech firm to enter Gulf market in 2018
Novade Solutions plans to make its construction technologies available to the Middle-Easten market starting next year
Novade Solutions is set to make its mobile technologies available to the Gulf’s construction market starting next year, the company’s founder revealed.
Denis Branthonne, who also serves as the chief executive officer of the firm, told Construction Week: “Novade is headquartered in Singapore, and to date our platform is used throughout Asia and Europe.
“We are currently aiming to enter the Middle-Eastern market in 2018.”
The company’s platform, noted Branthonne, offers a variety of modules that can digitise construction processes, such as defect checking, quality controls, site inspections, and work permits.
The company also has a maintenance module that can be used by field technicians to “manage scheduled inspections and repair jobs in real time”, he added.
Pointing out that the construction industry is “ripe for disruption” and that “mobile and cloud technologies can revolutionise site processes”, he said: “[Novade] aims to bring standard site processes into the digital age. By using your smartphone, tablet, or computer, you can conduct inspections, file reports, complete forms, and [perform] many other tasks on site and in real time.”
