Thomson Reuters announced the launch of its revamped Projects platform.

The platform is aimed at providing market intelligence to the construction and oil and gas industries, among others, in the Middle East.

Covering more than 14,000 projects worth over $5.7tn across 15 countries in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, the service "allows subscribers to find new business opportunities, track competitors, control costs, and mitigate risks, as well as stay up to date with industry news and alerts", a statement revealed.

The platform has a database of 41,000 companies and 420,000 contacts.

Key features of the platform include a Know your Customer service that can “uncover hidden risks in business relationships and human networks”, Thomson Reuters said.

More information about the platform is available on the Thompson Reuters Projects website.
