Ground broken on $11m 3PL facility in Dubai
Ground has broken on the multi-product warehousing centre, which will be built on a plot spanning 40,000sqm, and is due to be commissioned in Q2 2018
Access World Logistics will develop a $10.9m (AED40m) third-party logistics (3PL) facility at Jebel Ali Free Zone (Jafza).
The multi-product warehousing centre, due to be commissioned in Q2 2018, will be built on a plot spanning 40,000m2.
A 15,000m2 warehouse, 13.7m high, will be developed as part of the project.
Rooftop solar panels will be installed to allow the logistics centre meet its power requirements.
The logistics centre, for which a groundbreaking ceremony was recently held, will also comprise a 6,500m2 open-storage yard, in addition to a road weighbridge.
Ancillary facilities, and an office block, will be developed as part of the project as well, Dubai Media Office reported.
Access World logistics is a joint venture formed by UAE's Rais Hassan Saadi (RHS) Group, and Switzerland-headquartered Access World Group.
