The 2B+G+M+8P+48+R tower is due to complete in Q4 2019, with ALEC's related MEP and interiors businesses also expected to work on the project
Select Group has awarded ALEC a $163.3m (AED600m) contract to develop the Jumeirah Living Marina Gate project.
The contract award brings the total value of Select's The Residences at Marina Gate development to $435.6m (AED1.6bn).
Jumeirah Living Marina Gate is the development's third and final tower, Select said in a statement.
The 2B+G+M+8P+48+R tower will comprise 104 serviced apartments, 389 private residences, and 15 villas, ALEC revealed.
Enabling works for the project have completed, and main contracting teams have mobilised on site.
ALEC said its related businesses, ALEMCO and ALEC Fit-Out, will respectively provide mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) and interiors services for the development.
The project, with a 12ha (1.3 million ft2) built-up area, is due to be completed in Q4 2019.
Select Group inked an agreement with Jumeirah Group in January 2016 to manage the project under its Jumeirah Living brand.
