UAE foreign affairs ministry unveils new office in Georgia
The new office is located at the Biltmore Hotel in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi and offers consular and passport services
The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) has opened a new office in Georgia, it has been announced.
The purpose of the facility is to provide support to UAE nationals in the country, UAE state news agency, WAM, reported.
According to the ministry, the new office is located at the Biltmore Hotel in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi, and offers consular and passport services.
The launch of the office reflects the aim of both countries to strengthen their cooperation and partnership, said the ministry.
With its announcement of the new facility, the ministry also confirmed the appointment of Obaid Khalifa Bakheet Al Kaabi as the Acting UAE Ambassador to Georgia.
