Better Homes offers discounted rate to Torch Tower residents

In a bid to help residents of Dubai Marina’s fire-stricken Torch Tower find new accommodation, Better Homes is offering tenants a 50% discount on commission

Better Homes has assembled a dedicated team of agents to help residents of Dubai Marina’s fire-stricken Torch Tower find new accommodation.

As part of the initiative, the real estate firm is offering affected tenants a 50% discount on commission.

The latest Torch Tower fire was reported to Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) at 12.45am on Friday, 4 August, 2017. The building was evacuated without injury, and DCD brought the blaze under control at 2.58am.

The latest incident is the second fire to hit the building in 30 months. The supertall residential tower suffered its first blaze in February 2015.

In a statement issued via Facebook on the day of the fire, Better Homes said: “Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all owners and tenants affected by the fire at The Torch in Dubai Marina this morning.

“For current residents of The Torch who wish to move into a new apartment quickly, we have assembled a team of agents to help, and will offer a 50% discount on commission,” the statement added.

Affected tenants who wish to find out more about Better Homes’ offer can write to customercare@bhomes.com, or call +971 600 52 2233.
